Galesville Elementary is a two section 4K-5 school that was constructed in 1970. The formerly open concept building was remodeled from 2014-2020 and now has updated electrical, HVAC, solid walls separating each classroom, and most recently an enclosed library space. The grounds have a 20-acre green space with nature trail and community garden.
Along with a highly qualified staff, G-E-T elementary schools feature personalized attention through low student to teacher ratios. As AGR qualifying schools, our K-3 elementary class sizes are 18:1 or less or they have additional staff support in the classroom if the ratio is exceeded.
G-E-T schools have comprehensive Response to Intervention and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports programs in place. These programs create a supportive and positive environment that has led to student growth.
