Today was all about switching roles and having some laughs! Our halls were filled with mini Ms. Lindsays and Ms. Iversons and more — students dressed like their favorite staff — and teachers channeling their inner students! It was a lighthearted way to build connection, show appreciation, and celebrate the fun of being part of our school family. 🧡📚 #galesvillepride

Have you heard about the Zion Quilters? This energetic group of ladies design, construct, and prepare to ship over 300 quilts per year. These quilts are sent to people in need both nationally and internationally. The kindergarten classes at Galesville Elementary walked over to learn how this process works. The students were taught about different fabrics, threads, and techniques used in the quilting process. The most important lesson learned was how to be a good citizen by using skills, time and talents to help others. #galesvillepride

What an incredible Red Hawk Rally this month! Our students came together to celebrate positive behavior and some BIG accomplishments. 💰 Penny Wars Success! 💰 Our Red Hawks showed their generosity and school spirit by raising an amazing $1,350 during Penny Wars! All funds will support the weekend and summer food program, helping ensure our students and families have what they need. A huge congratulations to Mrs. Weiler's class for collecting the most and earning the title of Penny Wars champions! 🏆👏 Zones of Regulation Challenge Students have been working hard to recognize and regulate their emotions, and Mrs. Naughton's class led the way this month! We even celebrated April Fools Day by holding our assembly in reverse! #galesvillepride
