Students came dressed in their brightest neon colors, and they transformed their classroom with black lights and glowing activities all day long! They practiced reading with flashlights, reviewed their "glowing" math skills, and completed lots of fun glow-themed learning activities.
The students showed great teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm while making learning extra bright and memorable. Such a fun way to celebrate all of the hard work they’ve put in this year! 😎✨. #galesvillepride

Today, our hallways were filled with high-fives, big smiles, and a few happy tears as the Galesville Elementary Class of 2026 came back home for their traditional Senior Walk! 🎒➡️🎓
It feels like just yesterday these seniors were sitting at our tiny desks, learning their ABCs, and running around the playground. Seeing them walk through our halls in their caps and gowns—cheered on by our current students and emotional teachers—was absolutely magical.
To our former little learners and soon-to-be high school graduates: We are so incredibly proud of the leaders, athletes, artists, and thinkers you have become. Always remember where your journey started! 💙❤️ #galesvillepride

Our gym was absolutely electric today for our annual Galesville Elementary Talent Show, and our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade performers completely blew us away! 🌟
From the stage to the canvas, our Red Hawks showed out with incredible courage, dedication, and creativity. Today’s lineup featured an amazing variety of gifts:
⚽ Sports Showcases
🎹 Piano Performances
🎤 Singing
🎨 Art Displays
It takes an immense amount of courage to step up in front of the whole school, and every single participant shined bright today. They perfectly modeled what it means to Grow, Excel, and Thrive!

A massive shout-out to our brave Red Hawk Explorers who conquered the Classroom Spelling Bee! These trailblazers have successfully navigated the first leg of their journey and earned their spot in our School-Wide Spelling Bee next Monday.
We are so proud of the grit and determination these adventurers showed. We wish them clear skies and steady trekking as they take the stage to spell their way to the summit! #galesvillepride

Our students and staff poured so much heart, creativity, and "Red Hawk" spirit into this challenge to support local hunger relief. Being recognized out of schools across the entire state is a huge testament to our community’s commitment to giving back.
A massive thank you to:
Our Students: For your energy and for learning that "doing good" is the best way to lead.
Our Families: For the cereal donations that fueled this mission.
Do Good Wisconsin: For the opportunity to turn a fun video into a meaningful impact for our neighbors.
Way to go, G-E-T! Let’s keep that momentum going!

We had some extra help in the kindergarten classrooms this week! As a winner of our Environmental Day Fundraiser, Hadley stepped into the role of Kindergarten Helper and she was busy from the first bell!
Our guest leader spent her day:
📖 Reading stories to fellow classrooms (keeping that GE Reads spirit alive!).
🥛 Assisting with the snack milk routine like a pro.
🌳 Leading the way by taking our learning outside to enjoy the fresh Galesville air.
Thank you, Hadley, for your hard work and for showing us all what it means to Grow, Excel, and Thrive! #galesvillepride

Red Hawk Pride is soaring today! 🦅✨
A huge shout-out to Ally, one of our fantastic 5th-grade leaders, for being recognized as a Random Acts of Connection t-shirt winner in the County! 👕🏆 We also want to give a big round of applause to Justine, who was named a runner-up! 🌟
This program, sponsored by Trempealeau County Human Services, shows our commitment to positive connections and makes Galesville Elementary a better place for all of our explorers. #galesvillepride

From the iconic sculptures at the Walker Art Center to the breathtaking sounds of the Minnesota Orchestra, our students represented Galesville Elementary with excellence with several comments from others on the great manners our students displayed. It was a day filled with "oohs," "aahs," and plenty of creative sparks! #galesvillepride

These amazing students were recognized this month for consistently soaring high and demonstrating our three core values:
✅ Being Safe
✅ Being Respectful
✅ Being Responsible
Whether it’s helping a friend on the playground, staying focused during academics, or showing great leadership in the hallways, these explorers make Galesville Elementary proud every single day. #galesvillepride

The students were wide-eyed at just how many quilts come together each Tuesday morning down in the church basement. Every stitch has a purpose—these quilts are shared with the police department, first responders, and the fire department to help folks going through tough times. Some even make their way to other parts of the country, spreading a little warmth and kindness wherever they land. #galesvillepride
Check out some of today’s highlights:
Principal for the Day: Our student principal was busy leading morning announcements, keeping things safe during recess duty, and managing the daily "expedition" of school life!
Classroom Takeovers:Future educators were in the making as they ran Mrs. Lavery’s 4K class with great energy!
First grade was in excellent hands with our student leaders in Mrs. Naughton’s room.
Staff Lounge Takeover: The students officially claimed the lounge as their own for the day!
Special Lunch: A group of lucky leaders enjoyed a celebratory lunch with Ms. Andre.
#galesvillepride

Using a variety of materials, students designed and built their own bridges. They had to consider:
Stability: Will it hold the weight of a goat?
Design: Is it high enough to keep the troll underneath?
Creativity: How can we make it sturdy and strong?
At GE, we believe play is the best way to learn. Watching these students collaborate and problem-solve proves that you're never too young to be an engineer! #galesvillepride
