Love and learning were in the air today at Galesville Elementary! ❤️🦅 Our Red Hawks celebrated a day of kindness by putting their BRAINS to work with some incredible STEM challenges. 🧠✨

From reviewing math facts with seasonal flair to engineering towering structures using candy gummies, our students proved that creativity and critical thinking go hand-in-hand. It wasn't just about the treats; it was about the teamwork and problem-solving that happens when we support one another! #galesvillepride

Red Hawks Soaring Together! 🦅

There is nothing better than seeing our older students step up as leaders. Ms. Lee’s 5th-grade "explorers" joined forces with Ms. Moss’s 2nd-grade class to kick off their new Wisconsin Birds writing unit!

Our 5th graders shared their research expertise to help our 2nd graders discover the amazing birds that call our state home. We love seeing this kind of collaboration and mentorship in our hallways!

🌲❄️ PBIS Celebrations in Action! ❄️🌲 We loved celebrating our students who have been showing what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible! Students in grades 1–5 enjoyed a PBIS reward trip to Bruce Mound, where they explored nature, stayed active, and made great memories together outdoors. Meanwhile, our kindergarten students celebrated their positive choices with a cozy and fun Frozen Friday right here at school! These experiences are a wonderful reminder that when students meet PBIS expectations, great things happen—learning, joy, and connection to each other and the world around us. We are so proud of our Red Hawks! 🦅✨ #galesvillepride

We've got the holiday spirit! Today was a whirlwind of music and giving. The music: a huge shout out to Vocal Point and the high school band for leading our annual holiday sing-along! The heart: your giving tree donations are officially on their way to families in need. Thank you for your kindness! The laughs: our staff went all out for anything but a cup day. Have a wonderful, healthy holiday break! See you in 2026! #GalesvillePride

A Little Magic Goes a Long Way... ✨ The Principal Elf arrived today with one very important mission: to bring as much joy as possible to our incredible students! Between the surprise visits to the cafeteria and the quiet appearances in the library, the "Elf on the Shelf" is reminding us all that the best part of the season is the happiness we share with one another. #galesvillepride

Today we celebrated Read for the Record and we were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many parents, grandparents, and loved ones into our building. It was our best turnout yet and the positive energy was contagious. Our Redhawk students and families moved through three special rotations: gathering to hear this year's official book See Marcus Grow, celebrating our school spirit during our monthly Redhawk Rally, and finding cozy spots to enjoy reading together in their classrooms.#GalesvillePride.

Soar, Red Hawks, Soar! 🦅 We are thrilled to announce a returning math collaboration for our 4th and 5th graders! We have the privilege of welcoming future educators from Winona State University (WSU) into our classrooms. These talented WSU students are bringing fresh energy and hands-on strategies to teach engaging math lessons and reinforce key concepts. Our Red Hawks get to benefit from diverse teaching styles and focused attention, while the WSU students gain valuable real-world experience. It's a true win-win for education and community growth right here in Galesville! #galesvillepride

Our annual fall parade was a blast! A new route due to construction couldn't dampen our spirits! It was so wonderful to see all the smiling faces and amazing costumes as we continued one of our most beloved Galesville Elementary traditions. The joy of this parade is all about our students and community coming together. A huge thank you to our staff, families, and neighbors who lined the new route to cheer us on. #GalesvillePride
