Yesterday was the kickoff to GE Reads! Students were spotted enjoying books in all kinds of fun spots—outside the portable, on the playground, and even on a bus! What a great way to show that reading can happen anywhere. 💙❤️#galesvillepride

Our second grade students continue to master their reading routines and expectations to grow as learners and foster a love for reading. #galesvillepride

Galesville and Ettrick elementaries joined up at the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge today. The weather threatened rain, but we all stayed dry. We got to see some beautiful fall scenes and learn about the refuge with Val and Jane. Thank you to the refuge and our volunteers for a wonderful field trip.

This month, our Galesville Elementary adventurers set out on a journey to show what it means to be Safe, Respectful, and Responsible — and they succeeded in heroic fashion!
These brave explorers of learning have blazed trails in kindness, teamwork, and perseverance. Their actions remind us that every day is an opportunity to chart a new course and rise to the challenge of our PBIS expectations.
Congratulations to this month’s Red Hawk Heroes—you are leading the way on our greatest adventure yet! #galesvillepride

Changes are happening at Galesville Elementary! A new portable classroom has been placed out back to house our music program and a sensory room. This change allows us to add another section of all day 4K inside the main building, giving our youngest learners an even stronger start. #GalesvillePride

Today the community summer lunch program served 140 people. In addition, there was fresh produce from our community garden for families to take home and enjoy.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who help to make this happen and to our families and community members for coming out to join us.
Lunch is served from 11:30 to 12:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Trempealeau United Methodist Church, Tuesdays and Fridays at Cance Park in Galesville, and Thursdays in Ettrick at Living Hope Lutheran Church. Our final meal will be served on August 15.
