GE and EE first graders visited the UW-L Planetarium 🪐 today! We learned about constellations, planets, meteors, and other patterns we see in the night sky. After that we met up with some parent chaperones at Myrick Park for lunch, hiking, and play. It was a great day of exploring, learning, and fun. Thank you to our PTOs for sponsoring this trip!

🎓✨ Today we were honored to cheer on the graduating seniors as they took their final walk through the halls of Galesville Elementary — the place where their educational journey began. Our elementary students lined the hallways, clapping and high-fiving the seniors with smiles and endless excitement. What a full-circle moment to see how far they've come. Congratulations, Class of 2025 — your future is bright, and we’re proud to have been part of your story! ❤️ #galesvillepride

💡🎉 WOW! Galesville Elementary students helped raise over $11,500 for our PTO through the Glow Dance Party fundraiser! 🙌
We celebrated with a fun assembly where students won some incredible raffle prizes—like Principal for the Day, rides with community helpers, an air boat adventure, and so much more!
And because they beat their fundraising goal, seven lucky students got to pie staff in the face—a sweet (and messy!) reward for a job well done!
Thank you to our amazing families and community for your generosity and support! 💙 #galesvillepride

Have you heard about the Zion Quilters? This energetic group of ladies design, construct, and prepare to ship over 300 quilts per year. These quilts are sent to people in need both nationally and internationally. The kindergarten classes at Galesville Elementary walked over to learn how this process works. The students were taught about different fabrics, threads, and techniques used in the quilting process. The most important lesson learned was how to be a good citizen by using skills, time and talents to help others. #galesvillepride
Today was another day of celebration for our Red Hawk Heroes at Galesville Elementary. We want to thank our students and their loved ones for joining us for cinnamon rolls and smiles in honor of those who are demonstrating what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible. #galesvillepride
